CACAO FAT BOMBS

These are an excellent alternative to nut bars from the super market.

1, Half a cup of nutella

2, Quarter cup of coconut oil.

3, Quarter cup of raw Cacao powder

4 One tsp of vanilla essence.

5, Pinch of sea salt.

In a medium sauce pan bring 12mm of water to the boil. Reduce to a simmer then place heatproof glass or metal bowl upright over the top ofthe saucepan.

Add all of the ingredients into the glass bowl.

Stir constantly until everything is melted and you have a smooth liquid.

Place 10 silicon muffin or cupcake moulds on a baking tray and place in the freezer until hard, then keep in freezer in a air tight container. Also you can buy choclate bar moulds to make smaller portions if you want.

Flavour options:

Add half a cup of coconut and or chopped nuts.
You can use Almond butter or cacao butter instead of Cacao powder or peanut butter (we found the peanut butter ones very sweet)

We tried putting 2 tsp of peppermint essence instead of the vanilla essence. (taste’s better than the real thing at the shops)

The Almond butter and Cacao butter don’t have the same amount of vitamins as raw cacao powder because they undergo more proccessing.
