We have found a great dinner roll with low carbs and is very versatile as you can make an apricot loaf, apple loaf, hamburger buns, savory buns which taste like savory scones and long rolls (hot dogs) which to put sausages in all from the one recipe.
Half a cup of coconut flour
2 tblsp Psyllium husk powder
half tsp baking powder
quarter tsp pink hialayan salt
three quarters cup distilled water
4 large eggs
4 tblsp butter (60 gms)
1, start by combining all the dry ingredients and mix thouroughly
2, In a seperate bowl beat the eggs with a mixer, add cooled melted butter and water and continue to mix.
3, pour dry ingredients into the wet mixture and mix on slow speed until well mixed, ( add bacon and onion for savoury rolls now).
4, form into 8 dinner rolls place on baking paper on flat tray.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 180 degrees c
Tips:
