Home made low carb blackberry Jam

Low carb chia jam.

2 cups frozen berries

1 tblsp lemon juice

2 tblsp Natvia

2 tblsp chia seeds (from supermakets)

put berries in pot on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes

Blend berries with stick wiz (optional leave as is for chunky)

While still on heat add natvia and lemon juice

Cook for a further 5 minutes.

Remove from heat, stir in chia seeds and pour into jar or bowl. ( 500ml )

Once cool put lid on and refrigerate.

Tip:

you can use any berries for this but blue berries need to be broken up.

Should work with fresh berries but we haven’t tried this yet.

But remember different fruits have different amounts of carbs.

Approximatly 1.5 grams of net carbs per table spoon

This is our blackberry jam on our home made toast.
